Financial assistance is available through the following programs operated by Missouri One Start under the Department of Economic Development and administered by the Moberly Area Community College (MACC) Workforce Development Center. These programs strive to meet the needs for specialized industry training with a goal of keeping Missouri’s workforce competitive. Companies have several options for achieving their workforce training goals. Training may be provided by the individual company, a private vendor, or a Local Educational Agency such as MACC. Missouri Customized Training Program
Financial assistance is available for a variety of training costs, including instructional salaries, curriculum development, and training materials. The program assists eligible companies with training customized to meet their specific needs, as they look to increase productivity, increase quality, introduce new technology, or add new products. MACC will assist the company with the required application and documentation for this program.
Missouri Community College New Jobs Training Program
The New Jobs Training Program (NJTP) is for companies that are creating a substantial number of new jobs in Missouri. The program is designed to reduce the financial costs of training employees in newly created jobs. Training may be provided by the company, a local educational agency or a training vendor.
Missouri Community College Job Retention Training Program
This program reduces the costs associated with retraining an existing workforce in the State of Missouri. The purpose of this program is to retain jobs in the state of Missouri by providing training assistance. The funding for this program depends on the availability of funds.

Basic Excel
Students will be introduced to Microsoft Excel 2019. Students will learn the basic features to produce basic worksheets and charts. Other topic areas covered include formatting, formulas, built-in functions used to design functional worksheets to solve business problems. This is a great refresher course for those who have worked in older versions of excel! Basic experience with Windows is assumed.

Intermediate Excel
This course introduces intermediate level features of Microsoft Excel 2019. Students will learn to use relative & absolute reference formulas and functions, manage workbooks using multiple worksheets, create custom templates and use pivot tables effectively. Basic Excel knowledge assumed.
